Today’s my 24th birthday!
What I’ve achieved thus far
Apart from a few bumps on the road, my 24 years have been pretty great! I’ve finished high school and my bachelor degree, moved into my own apartment, lived in the US for a semester, found a Frenchie who today is my boyfriend, I’ve lived and worked in Hong Kong, and I’ve already seen so much of the world.
Goals for year 24
Finish my Master’s degree in June
After I returned from Hong Kong two months ago, I’ve been working on my master’s thesis, which is due in the end of May. A few weeks after I’ll be doing my presentation and finally, after five years of hard work I will receive my Master’s diploma.
Find a job
After graduation comes the whole job hunting period. Honestly, I’m not too picky when it comes to my future job. I basically just wanna do something that interests me and that makes me happy. Is that too much to ask for?
Find our forever home
When Ollie and I met in the US three years ago, we agreed that we would both finish our studies in Denmark and France before finding a final destination. This year we’re both finally graduating and I cannot wait to finally find a place where we can live together for a while.
Travel more
Ugh, this is quite a kliche, but I really wanna see more places around the world. Usually I always tend to go to the same places over and over again, mainly because I’m there to see friends, but two years ago I started visiting new places, and I really wanna continue on that path. First stop is Boston and New York!
Live life to the fullest
Another kliché, but nonetheless I had to put it on the list. I’ve always been that kinda person that would worry more about other people’s needs than my own, and this would often make me miserable. So this year I just wanna do things that make me truly happy, follow my dreams, and not care about what other people think.
